Care & Share Products - A brief history
Care & Share Products Pty Ltd was originally Christian Press Pty Ltd started by Bill Dalrymple in 1957
to service Christian Bookshops with imported books, cards and Sunday School resources.
Ron Edwards acquired the business from the Dalrymples in 1983.
In 1987, Ron saw the need to broaden the distribution of cards and gifts - products with words of
Hope, Inspiration and Encouragement. He also brought his two companies Christian Press and Edwards
Health Education Services under a new banner - Care & Share Products.
Whilst Care & Share Products is still the major supplier of cards, stationery and gifts to Christian
Bookshops it has experienced rapid growth in the secular gift and card markets so that over 60% of
sales are now to these stores.
In 2003, the company registered a new logo and brand “Empowering people to care” and a new
dimension was given to the brand when Ron started to work with organisations such as
Easter Morning, Tabitha, Village Handcrafters, Threads of Yunann, Jubilee, Gospel House,
Kamay Krafts, and Noah's Ark. These organisations provide work for the underprivileged
and poor, producing quality cards and gifts.
